Telescope Aluminum
Telescope Furniture celebrated their 100th
anniversary in 2003.
In 1903, the Telescope Cot Bed & Novelty Company in New York City was manufacturing cots and campstools with telescoping legs that were popular among the military. In 1921 Telescope moved to the lush countryside of Granville, New York where Telescope Casual Furniture is still manufactured today.
In 1953 Telescope Casual Furniture invented and patented the award winning Director Chair with replaceable seat covers. A long-time Hollywood staple, that today remains as popular as ever.
In the 1970’s Telescope Casual Furniture began making aluminum furniture and invented aluminum sling furniture as it is known today.
We consider Telescope to be an industry leader not only for it’s longevity but for it’s innovation, dedication, service and quality.
